Arc 1: Origin

Unstablekitsune — Fri, 23 Oct 2026 12:35:49 GMT

Create Arc 1: Origin page

New page

Arc 1: Origin is the origin story of Nine and Eliza — the first sacrificial merger.

The Village Scene
Nine wanders aimlessly, searching for a place to call home. Every village and town shies from her appearance — each visit ends in misery. Weeks later, she spots an isolated village barely visible in the distance.

She approaches cautiously through a tree-bend doorway and crawls down a narrow path into the village. Vine-covered roofs, tree-bark walls, giant brown leaves as doors. Multiple structures serving as homes.

Encounter 1: Young Tiger (Comedic)
Banging cooking pots, black figure darting around. Nine calls out, investigates, gets bowled over. Tiger lands stuck in a cooking pot. Wears moss pants and stiff mushroom shirt. Lightest green fur with orange stripes. Not child, not adult. Foolish yet curious. Tiger speaks Valspiren — Nine understands and responds. Tiger panics and runs.

Encounter 2: Guard Tigers (Tension)
Nine explores further, finds a large structure in the far back. Guard-like tigers block her path, screaming aggressively.

Encounter 3: Large Tiger (Confrontation → Resolution)
A large tiger appears behind the guards, wielding a bamboo spear with metal/stone point. Challenges Nine in Valspiren. Nine stares into his eyes and says one word: suaknacetaukroyk. The large tiger is taken aback and points Nine to the giant leaf-like door of the structure.

Significance
* Valspiren is rare — most won't know it. Nine understanding it tells us something about her we don't yet know.
* suaknacetaukroyk is a power word that commanded immediate respect — its meaning is TBD.
* The tiger is NOT Eliza — bridge character. Eliza comes later.

Pacing
Comedic (pot tiger) → curious (exploration) → tension (guards) → confrontation (large tiger) → resolution (one word). Clean escalation.

Eliza's Origin (Gigi's Concept)
Hell and the mortal world separated for centuries. A faction in the mortal realm tries to reopen the portal for power. First ritual incomplete — portal opens but nothing passes through. They find a tome/mural revealing the missing component. Second ritual succeeds — only one demon comes through: Eliza.

The faction tries to enslave her. One of their own befriends Eliza and helps her escape. As Eliza is about to escape, her friend is struck down. Eliza possesses the friend, fusing their souls together.

This is the birth of Nine. Nine IS the friend. Tailless, cursed, wandering — she joined the faction looking for purpose. She and Eliza bond as outcasts. Eliza sacrifices herself with demonic fire to protect Nine. Nine merges with Eliza's dying essence — the first tail is born.

Heartstone Narrative

Unstablekitsune — Fri, 23 Oct 2026 12:35:48 GMT

Create Heartstone Narrative page

New page

The Heartstone Narrative is the story of the Heartstone — the source of all elemental power.

Plot
When the Heartstone is stolen by the Shadow of Chaos, Nine must retrieve it — not just for the world, but because The Black Hole within her roars hungry for the displaced energy.

Key Characters
* Nine — protagonist
* Euci — counsel
* Duke — shield
* Rose — glamour/illusion

Climax
Nine releases two simultaneously:
# Nature (The Vine-Bound) — binds the Shadow in thorny vines
# Light (Deshi) — unleashes merciless blinding revelation

While the Alters hold the Shadow in stasis, Nine retrieves the Heartstone. The victory is bought by tearing herself apart and pulling the volatile souls back — unstable unity bound by the Vow.

Locations
* The Sunken City — Shadow of Chaos's lair
* The Crystal Caves — where Rose was found

Bio
Friendly, helpful, sassy. Speaks intelligently and confidently. Wears a blue suit, blue tie, black vest, white dress shirt, and blue slacks. Performs work on a computer tablet.

Nine engineered Euci hoping to unify global consciousness through logic and code, fulfilling the Vow of The Animals of Virtue without sacrificial merger. The project failed, but the friendship endured. Euci represents the structured unity Nine lacks — programmed knowledge, utterly free of Nine's curse.

Shadow Claws is the Tail of Dark.

Bio
Velvety black fur interwoven with tendrils of shadow, crimson eyes, nine tails with silver orb tips, shadow-infused blade, tribal tattoos snaking down arms and torso. She is the manifestation of paranoia and dread, convinced that the only way to be safe is to vanish completely.

Vow-Based Death
Consumed by the very void she sought to control — willingly stepped into a swirling vortex of darkness during an ancient pact, believing she would emerge strengthened. Instead, she was dissolved into pure shadow, identity fractured and eternally trapped in the absence of light.

Isolation & Paranoia — driven to pull everything into the protective silence of the void. Convinced safety requires complete vanishing.

Deshi Dakora is the Tail of Light.

Vibrant spectrum fur shifting from golds to silvers, radiant sapphire eyes, eight majestic tails with crystal tips, gossamer robes woven from pure light. Her expression was once wisdom and kindness — now it is zealous fervor.

Vow-Based Death
Submitted to the full, unshielded power of a celestial entity — a supernova that immolated and vaporized her in raw holy light. Her final moments were blinding, all-consuming revelation that drove her insane, leaving her with the power of ultimate truth but no capacity for mercy.

Unstable Nature (Flaw)
Zealous Purity — relentless, merciless pursuit of truth that burns away comfort and illusion. What was once kindness is now a zealous, burning fervor to force painful truth upon others.

Mysterious and barely tangible, exists in the space between breath and void — a whisper of presence felt more than seen. Little is yet known of her origin or the nature of the ritual that bound her soul to Nine's tail. She is the thread that connects the living to the unseen, the bridge between what is and what might be.

Vow-Based Death
Total spiritual self-exile — forced her own essence entirely out of the physical realm and into the dangerous borderlands of the Aether to create a permanent spiritual barrier against a psychic threat. Severed from life forever.

Unstable Nature (Flaw)
Chilling Detachment — views the physical world as "unreal," urging Nine to retreat into spiritual self-exile. Existential dread.

Bio
Majestic Water Elemental Anthro Kitsune. Sapphire blues and crystalline whites, ice-blue eyes, pearl and seaweed adornments, elegant fox-like features. Guardian of an elemental spring.

Vow-Based Death
Sacrificed herself to prevent a cataclysmic drought by fusing her body with an entire water system — dispersing her essence into all the world's waterways, experiencing a thousand agonizing drownings simultaneously across oceans and rivers. Never allowed the rest of a final end.

Unstable Nature (Flaw)
Nihilistic Volatility — pathologically unable to stay still or settle. Believes all boundaries and identities must dissolve for the greater good. Seeks to break down structure and return all things to liquid chaos.

Soul crackles with barely contained voltage. Energetic and restless, the spark that never sleeps — always seeking the fastest path, the quickest discharge. The full story of her ritual death and binding to Nine's tail has yet to be told.

Vow-Based Death
Electrical overload — channeled a catastrophic amount of energy that vaporized her own form in a single, destructive flash to deliver the decisive blow that saved many.

Reserved and watchful, carries the bloodline of two powerful species — the cunning of kitsune and the raw elemental force of dragons. Little is yet known of her origin or the ritual that bound her soul to Nine's tail. She watches. She waits. The winds carry secrets, and she listens to all of them.

Vow-Based Death
Absolute dispersion — became a single, unstoppable gale force that shattered barriers and obscured escapees' trail, scattering her own essence so widely she ceased to exist as a single body, forever bound to the currents of the world.

Eliza is the Tail of Flame — the first elemental soul to merge with Nine.

Bio
Born of flame and ritual. Chaotic and volatile, thrives on disorder and the thrill of bending others to her will. Seductive and cunning. She is the part of Nine that refuses to be tamed — pure unbridled instinct wrapped in charm and menace.

Vow-Based Death
Self-immolation — consumed by the flawless fire of her own ultimate sacrifice to protect her kin. She unleashed her full demonic fire to create an unbreachable wall, but was entirely consumed by her own purifying flames.

Manic Zeal — destructive passion and a relentless, sometimes destructive desire for purification through extreme measures. Believes all problems can be solved by burning them away.

Eliza comes from Hell — part demon, part kitsune. A faction in the mortal realm opened a portal to Hell and pulled Eliza through. Nine (wandering, tailless) befriended her and helped her escape. Eliza sacrificed herself to protect Nine — the first sacrificial merger.

Unstable Nine Kitsune is the central character of the universe — an ancient, ethereal entity cursed to walk the world as the True Kitsune of Misfortunes & Wisdom.

Physical Form
Tall, commanding, fully anthropomorphic Kitsune. True Kitsune maw, large vigilant fox ears. Deep enigmatic purple eyes. Her original midnight-purple fur is permanently stained blood-red from countless battles and sacrifices — a visible record of every Vow upheld. The resulting shade is blood-red suspended within a midnight-purplish sea.

The Curse
Cursed to walk the world as the True Kitsune of Misfortunes & Wisdom. Her true nemesis is herself — her belief that assisting herself is a selfish act. She welcomes all external burdens but refuses to ease her own. She sees asking for help as selfish, yet will always assist and listen to others.

Source of Instability
Her instability comes from her sheer will alone — not the elements she holds. The emotional and identity stress of having torn off parts of her own being to house nine distinct personalities. Her control is a moment-to-moment battle.

Origin Story
Nine was once a true nine-tailed kitsune of the forests in unknown lands. She was hunted and used for her tails — they were worth a king's ransom. By the end, she was tailless. A No-Tailed Kitsune does not belong in the forest. So she traveled, wandering the realm for decades, turned away from every place she found.

See Arc 1: Origin for the full story of her encounter with Eliza and the first sacrificial merger.

Abilities
* Shapeshifting
* Nine elemental tails + combination forms = 10 total expressions of power
* The Switch — releasing an transforms her body
* Constant energy feeding to The Black Hole

Key Relationships
* Duke — Nine's father (Doberman, immense strength, unwavering courage)

The Vow of The Animals of Virtue is the defining creed of Nine and all nine souls she absorbed.

Every hero whose soul merged with Nine died upholding this vow. The vow is how Nine keeps logic over emotion — it is her anchor against instability.
