The Switch
The Switch is the mechanism by which the nine elemental essences share one body.
Nine occupies the "seat" (dominant consciousness) by default. The other communicate internally to request a switch. When Nine permits it, her physical form fully transforms into the true identity of the Alter taking the seat.
Example
[edit | edit source]Switching with Eliza transforms Nine into a Kitsune-Demon hybrid with a true flame tail.
